UAE Attorney General Reveals Attempted Hijacking Incident
The Attorney General of the United Arab Emirates, Hamad Saif Al Shamsi, announced on Saturday that investigations into the Flydubai flight incident, which was en route from Dubai to Tel Aviv, have revealed that the co-pilot attempted to carry out an act of terrorism. This alarming revelation indicates that the co-pilot initiated a plan during the flight by attacking the pilot inside the cockpit using an emergency axe, and attempted to take control of the aircraft's controls, as reported by the Emirates News Agency (WAM).
Al Shamsi emphasized that investigations are still ongoing to uncover all aspects surrounding this incident, including the motives and any related connections. Furthermore, technical examinations and evaluations of both physical and digital evidence are being conducted, and the final results will be announced once the necessary procedures are completed. This incident has raised serious concerns regarding aviation security and the measures in place to protect passengers and crew members during flights.
