UAE Defence and Aerospace Firms to Make Their Mark at the Marrakech Airshow 2026

In an exciting development for the international defence and aerospace sectors, companies from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are gearing up to present a range of cutting-edge defensive systems, aerial platforms, and advanced technologies at the upcoming Marrakech Airshow 2026. This significant event is scheduled to take place from October 7 to October 10 at the Royal Moroccan Air Force Base in Marrakech, as reported by the Emirates News Agency. The UAE's participation will be prominently featured within a dedicated pavilion, reflecting the nation’s commitment to showcasing its advancements in the defence and aerospace industries.

The UAE pavilion at this four-day airshow is receiving robust support from the UAE Ministry of Defence and the Tawazun Economic Council, which is instrumental in enabling defence initiatives. The organization of the pavilion is being handled by ADNEC Group, a subsidiary of Modon, and is part of a broader strategy to engage with international defence exhibitions, coordinated by Tawazun in partnership with the Ministry of Defence. The overarching aim of this initiative is to facilitate access for national defence and aerospace companies to global markets while fostering partnerships with international entities.

ADNEC Group brings its expertise in managing national participation in specialized international exhibitions to the table, ensuring that the UAE's defence sector is well-represented. The pavilion will feature notable companies such as Edge, General 5 Holding, Multi Level Group, ReSource Industries, as well as publications like Soldier Magazine and Nation Shield. This unified platform will provide participating entities direct access to international buyers, industry leaders, government representatives, and military delegations, thereby enhancing networking opportunities and collaboration prospects.

Moreover, the Tawazun Economic Council will have a significant presence at the airshow, reinforcing its strategy to empower the UAE's defence industry, expand international partnerships, and enhance industrial cooperation. Through its active participation in various specialized international exhibitions this year, the UAE pavilion also aims to promote the upcoming editions of the International Defence Exhibition and Conference, as well as the Naval Defence and Maritime Security Exhibition, offering a venue for industry leaders to connect and stay abreast of the latest technological advancements.

The Marrakech Airshow, held biennially since its inception in 2008, has grown to become Morocco's premier aviation event, attracting over 250 high-level civil and military delegations from around the globe. The UAE pavilion will not only showcase the country’s capabilities but also provide visitors an opportunity to engage with the participating national entities.
