The United Arab Emirates is set to showcase its latest advancements in the fields of defense industries, aviation, space, and advanced technologies during its participation in the Marrakech Air Show 2026. This prominent event will take place from October 7 to October 10 in Marrakech, Morocco, and is characterized by a united national presence at the exhibition.
Held at the base of the Royal Moroccan Air Force under the patronage of King Mohammed VI, the UAE delegation comprises several leading companies and institutions operating in the defense, aviation, and technology sectors. As outlined in a statement released from Abu Dhabi on October 2, the UAE’s participation is supported by the Ministry of Defense and the Defense Empowerment Council, with the ADNEC Group, part of "Cities", organizing and managing the national pavilion.
The UAE pavilion includes prominent entities such as EDGE Group, Generation 5 Holding, Multi Level Group, Resource Industries, in addition to the magazines "Soldier" and "National Shield". This unified platform aims to enhance communication between UAE companies, international buyers, specialized sector leaders, government representatives, and military delegations attending the event.
The participating UAE entities will present a range of solutions and capabilities in defensive systems, aviation, autonomous platforms, and advanced technologies. This aligns with the UAE's national participation program in international defense and specialized exhibitions. The Defense Empowerment Council oversees the execution of this program in coordination with the Ministry of Defense, aiming to assist local companies in the defense and aviation sectors in accessing new markets, expanding their networks, and building partnerships with international institutions.
In addition, the Defense Empowerment Council's participation in the exhibition reflects its strategy to support and empower the UAE defense sector, expand international partnerships, and enhance industrial cooperation opportunities with various specialized markets. Throughout the duration of the Marrakech Air Show, the UAE pavilion will dedicate space to showcase the capabilities and technologies offered by the participating companies, while also providing opportunities for direct engagement with national and international entities present at the event.
Furthermore, the pavilion will promote upcoming editions of the International Defense Exhibition "IDEX", the International Defense Conference, and the Naval Defense and Security Exhibition "NAVDEX", scheduled for 2027. The Marrakech Air Show, held every two years since its inception in 2008, has established itself as one of the leading events in the aviation and space sectors in Morocco, attracting over 250 high-level civil and military delegations from around the globe.
This current edition serves as an opportunity to strengthen international cooperation in aviation, defense, and space, while allowing participating companies and institutions to explore new partnership and investment opportunities, as well as exchange expertise and technologies. The exhibition underscores Morocco's position in the aviation sector and highlights the importance of technical expertise exchange, which is a step worthy of support.
International participation reaffirms the success of the Moroccan exhibition, positioning it as a genuine opportunity for international collaboration. The UAE's involvement enhances the exhibition's international value and provides a robust momentum, making it a fertile ground for promising investment prospects. The communication between companies opens up significant industrial partnership opportunities, further solidifying the Moroccan-UAE relations through defense and industrial cooperation.
