The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is set to exhibit its advanced manufacturing and technological capabilities during the "Marrakech Airshow 2026," taking place from October 7 to 10 at the Royal Moroccan Air Force Base in Marrakech, under the patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI. This exhibition is organized with support from the Ministry of Defense and the Defense Empowerment Council, facilitated by ADNEC Group, a subsidiary of the cities' development companies.
This initiative is part of the UAE's national pavilion program at international defense and specialized exhibitions, overseen by the Defense Empowerment Council in coordination with the Ministry of Defense. The aim is to assist national defense and aerospace industry companies in accessing markets and building partnerships with international organizations and institutions. ADNEC Group will manage the pavilion at the exhibition, leveraging its extensive experience in organizing national participations in specialized international events. The national pavilion brings together several key players, including EDGE Group, Generation 5 Holding, Multi Level Group, Resource Industries, and the publications "Soldier" and "National Shield," creating a unified platform that enables participating entities and companies to connect with international buyers, sector leaders, government representatives, and military delegations.
The exhibition will also prominently feature the Defense Empowerment Council as part of its strategy to empower the defense sector in the UAE, expand international partnerships, and enhance industrial cooperation. Companies participating under the pavilion will showcase their capabilities in defense systems, aviation, unmanned platforms, and advanced technologies, reflecting the growing presence of the UAE within the global defense industrial base.
Additionally, the pavilion will actively promote the upcoming 2027 editions of the International Defense Exhibition (IDEX), the International Defense Conference, and the Naval Defense and Security Exhibition (NAVDEX), providing a platform for industry leaders to communicate, leverage the latest technologies, and explore new avenues for collaboration.
Throughout the Marrakech Airshow 2026, the UAE national pavilion will offer visitors the opportunity to learn about the capabilities on display and engage with the participating national entities.
Held biennially, the Marrakech Airshow has evolved since its inception in 2008 to become Morocco's premier event for the aviation and aerospace sector, attracting over 250 high-level civil and military delegations from around the world.
