Abu Dhabi is set to highlight the United Arab Emirates' advanced manufacturing and technological capabilities at the upcoming Marrakech Airshow 2026, scheduled to take place from October 7 to 10 at the Royal Moroccan Air Force base in Marrakech, under the patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI. This initiative is supported by the Ministry of Defense and the Defense Empowerment Council, with organizational responsibilities handled by ADNEC Group, a subsidiary of the cities' development company.
This exhibition is part of the UAE's national pavilion program, which participates in various international defense and specialized exhibitions, overseen by the Defense Empowerment Council in coordination with the Ministry of Defense. The program aims to assist national defense and aerospace industries in accessing international markets and forging partnerships with international entities and institutions. ADNEC Group will manage and organize the pavilion at the exhibition, leveraging its extensive experience in overseeing national participation in specialized international exhibitions.
The national pavilion will feature several key companies, including EDGE Group, Generation 5 Holding, Multi Level Group, Resource Industries, and the Soldier magazine, among others. This unified national platform allows participating entities and companies to connect with international buyers, industry leaders, government representatives, and military delegations. Furthermore, the Defense Empowerment Council will have a significant presence at the exhibition, reinforcing its strategy to empower the defense sector in the UAE by expanding international partnerships and enhancing industrial cooperation.
Exhibiting companies will showcase their capabilities across various domains, including defense systems, aviation, autonomous platforms, and advanced technologies, reflecting the UAE's growing presence in the global defense industrial base. The pavilion's active participation in several specialized international exhibitions throughout the year also aims to promote upcoming events, such as the 2027 International Defense Exhibition (IDEX), the International Defense Conference, and the Naval Defense and Security Exhibition (NAVDEX), providing a platform for industry leaders to connect, leverage the latest technologies, and explore new avenues for collaboration.
Throughout the Marrakech Airshow 2026, the UAE's national pavilion will offer visitors the opportunity to explore the showcased capabilities and engage with the participating national entities. The Marrakech Airshow, held biennially since its inception in 2008, has evolved into Morocco's premier event for the aviation and aerospace sector, attracting over 250 high-level civil and military delegations from around the world.
