The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is set to inaugurate its national pavilion at the Marrakech Air Show 2026 tomorrow, presenting an array of the latest Emirati capabilities in defense industries, aviation, space, and unmanned systems. This participation aims to enhance industrial cooperation and open new markets for Emirati companies, particularly in Africa and Europe.

The Marrakech Air Show, taking place from October 7 to 10 at the Royal Moroccan Air Force Base in Marrakech, is under the patronage of King Mohammed VI and features high-level civil and military delegations from around the globe. The event comprises both civil and military aircraft displays, business meetings between companies, as well as specialized conferences and forums involving officials, experts, and stakeholders from the aviation and space sectors.

The UAE pavilion enjoys the support of the UAE Ministry of Defense and the Tawazun Economic Council, with the participation being organized by ADNEC Group. This effort aims to place the Emirati defense industry at the heart of one of the region's most significant specialized gatherings and to utilize the exhibition to expand the network of partnerships and industrial cooperation.

The Tawazun Economic Council oversees the participation program in coordination with the UAE Ministry of Defense, aligning with a strategy focused on facilitating national companies' access to international markets and establishing new strategic partnerships. The council's work encompasses defense procurement, local industry localization, research and development, and innovation, all serving the UAE's goal of bolstering an advanced local defense industrial base.

The UAE's participation brings together several key players in the defense, aviation, and space sectors, including EDGE Group, Generation 5 Holding, Multi Level Group, and Resource Industries, along with military publications such as Soldier Magazine and National Shield. For these entities, the exhibition presents an invaluable opportunity to showcase their solutions to government officials, buyers, investors, and international industrial partners.

Among the prominent participants is EDGE Group, which presents a suite of technologies including air and ground surveillance, counter-drone systems, and electronic protection measures, alongside guided munitions and layered air defense systems. The group emphasizes three operational pillars: early situational awareness, ensuring operational execution, and achieving precise impact at multiple levels.

Generation 5 Holding is also showcasing solutions that encompass aerial systems, air defense, unmanned systems, and missiles, as well as advanced ground platforms equipped for air defense. They will highlight their expertise in advanced manufacturing, including the development, integration, and production of platforms and systems along with their components and subassemblies.

The UAE's participation is not limited to traditional defense industries, as the advanced air mobility sector also plays a significant role. Multi Level Group's Advanced Mobility Center is displaying two electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft, along with unmanned aerial systems designed for surveillance, inspection, and emergency response, as well as solutions related to airport infrastructure and operational control systems.

Resource Industries presents a range of solutions including unmanned aircraft, armored vehicles, and unmanned cargo aircraft for transporting heavy loads, in addition to mine-resistant vehicles, troop carriers, reconnaissance and attack vehicles, and electronic warfare systems.

The UAE's engagement at the Marrakech Air Show carries clear economic and industrial significance, as the pavilion seeks to connect Emirati companies with international buyers, investors, and partners, while opening up new export opportunities for their products and technologies, particularly in African and European markets. The exhibition also serves as a platform to enhance cooperation channels between governments and industrial stakeholders, exploring new projects and partnerships in sectors that increasingly converge around aviation, space, defense, and advanced technology.

The UAE pavilion will be open to visitors at the Marrakech Air Show from October 7 to 10 at exhibition stands 1K and 3J, where professionals and participating delegations will have the opportunity to explore the latest innovations and solutions presented by the participating Emirati companies.
