UIR Unveils Seven New Courses for the 2026-2027 Academic Year

Expansion of Academic Offerings at UIR

The International University of Rabat (UIR) is set to broaden its academic offerings for the 2026-2027 academic year by introducing seven new programs across various fields, including health, engineering, management, and law. This strategic move aims to regularly update its curricula to align with the evolving job market and the skills demanded by professional sectors. The initiative reflects UIR's commitment to providing relevant education that meets the needs of students as well as the labor market.

New Programs in Health and Engineering

Among the new offerings, UIR will launch a Bachelor's degree in Speech Therapy, which is aimed at enhancing the existing health education framework that already includes programs in medicine, dentistry, physiotherapy, nursing, and laboratory techniques. This addition intends to develop specialists proficient in the prevention, assessment, and management of language and communication disorders, particularly as the university gears up for the inauguration of its new hospital facility. Meanwhile, the UIR School of Engineering will introduce two new cycles: one focusing on Industrial Engineering, which will address organizational management and optimization of production and service systems, and the other on General Engineering and Management, designed to equip students with both scientific knowledge and managerial skills, preparing them for complex technical and organizational environments.

Additionally, the management department will enhance its offerings with a Master's program in Organizational Transformation and Business Strategy, addressing the challenges associated with organizational change and strategic guidance. The existing Master's program in Accounting, Control, and Audit (CCA) will also see the introduction of a dual degree pathway developed in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Hauts-de-France and the IAE of Valenciennes. In the legal field, UIR is set to unveil two Master's programs in partnership with the University of Aix-Marseille. The first program focuses on Maritime and Transport Law, aimed at providing a robust international legal specialization, while the second program is dedicated to Sports Law, reflecting Morocco's dynamic developments in sports governance, infrastructure investments, and preparation for major international competitions.
