Unseasonably Warm Weather with Thunderstorms Expected Across Several Provinces

As temperatures are predicted to soar between 38°C and 42°C, various provinces in Morocco, including Chtouka-Ait Baha, Inezgane-Ait Melloul, Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, Taroudant, Tarfaya, and Tan-Tan, are bracing for an unseasonably warm weather pattern. The General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) has issued an orange alert bulletin highlighting the potential for intense thunderstorms, which may include hail and strong gusts of wind. These conditions are expected to impact the region significantly on both Tuesday and Wednesday, contributing to heightened weather-related risks.

In addition to the warm temperatures, the DGM has warned of heavy rainfall, with possible accumulations of 20 to 25 mm in the provinces of Boujdour, Aousserd, and Oued Ed-Dahab. This inclement weather is set to occur specifically on Tuesday from 14:00 to 23:00, necessitating precautions for residents and travelers in these areas. The DGM's proactive measures aim to ensure public safety and preparedness as these weather patterns unfold.
