New Road Construction in Al-Qalaa Al-Saraghna
Next week, the envelopes for the contract concerning the construction of the "Laqarqara" road project, located in the Al-Farayta commune of the Al-Qalaa Al-Saraghna region, are set to be opened. This initiative is part of a series of developmental projects funded by the Marrakech-Safi region. The project comes with a financial allocation of approximately 5 million dirhams and will extend over a length of 5 kilometers. This new roadway is expected to significantly contribute to alleviating the isolation faced by several localities, including Douar Hamou Cheikh, Douar Laqabala, Douar Slouh, as well as Douar Laqarqara. Furthermore, this road will enhance transportation conditions for the residents, linking the villages of Al-Farayta commune to the city of Attaouia, passing through Douar Al-Habbara and the Al-Qadiyah area. This connectivity is anticipated to boost the economic and social activity in the region, especially during the winter months when some pathways become challenging to navigate.
