Significant Snowfall Expected in Morocco's High Regions
According to the latest announcement from the Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM), significant snowfall is anticipated at elevations starting from 2,000 meters, spanning from Tuesday to Wednesday across various provinces of the Kingdom. This weather event, which is expected to deposit between 10 to 20 centimeters of snow, will particularly impact the provinces of Ouarzazate, Tinghir, Al Haouz, and Azilal. The snowfall is set to commence on Tuesday at noon and will persist until the same hour on Wednesday. The DGM has issued an orange-level weather alert to inform residents and travelers of these impending conditions, urging them to take necessary precautions as the weather evolves.
