Ivace+i Internacional, in collaboration with AVIA, the Automotive Cluster of the Valencian Community, has successfully organized the collective participation of Valencian companies in the XI Hispano-Moroccan Automotive Industry Meeting held in Tangier. Mónica Payá, the General Director of Internationalization, emphasized that this initiative has established itself as a unique platform to identify opportunities and expedite projects in the neighboring market.
To maximize their presence in Morocco, AVIA and other participating regional clusters have developed a comprehensive networking agenda in the days leading up to the forum. This strategic planning included visits to the production facilities of major manufacturers such as Stellantis, Frovia, Adient, and Renault, allowing the Valencian industry to gain an in-depth understanding of the activities taking place in the Tangier area.
Morocco has emerged as the leading vehicle producer in Africa and the fifth largest exporter of passenger cars to the European Union. This strategic position provides various opportunities, particularly for companies specializing in components, technology, and auxiliary services from the Valencian Community, who were continuously supported by representatives from AVIA and Ivace+i Internacional.
The meeting was held under the theme 'Resilience, Innovation, and Alliances' and featured plenary sessions focusing on the reconfiguration of value chains and industrial logistics. The participation of Valencian firms in these panels showcased the potential of the regional ecosystem to Moroccan institutional and business representatives, culminating the mission with direct B2B meetings.
