Virgin Limited Edition Announces Marrakech Hotel Set to Open in 2027

New Hotel Development on Agricultural Estate

Virgin Limited Edition has unveiled exciting plans for the establishment of a new hotel in Marrakech, anticipated to open its doors in 2027. This unique property will be situated on a sprawling ten-hectare agricultural estate, reflecting the brand's dedication to sustainability and offering guests an extraordinary experience that blends luxury with nature. The hotel is being developed in collaboration with Sazanes Immobilier, with construction already in progress.

Phased Launch and Amenities

The Marrakech hotel will feature a total of 37 exquisite suites, with an initial launch comprising 22 suites expected to be ready by early 2027. The remaining 15 suites are projected for completion in early 2028, with bookings set to commence in September 2026. Located approximately 25 minutes from the vibrant city center, the estate boasts lush citrus orchards, olive groves, and vegetable gardens, ensuring that guests have both rural tranquility and access to the cultural richness of Marrakech at their fingertips.

In addition to the luxurious accommodations, the hotel will offer an array of amenities including three diverse restaurants, a chef’s table, and a speakeasy-style bar, where much of the produce will be sourced directly from the estate itself. Guests can indulge in relaxation at a traditional Moroccan hammam, enjoy a refreshing dip in a 40-meter swimming pool, or partake in activities such as tennis, padel, and horseback riding. Moreover, the design of the hotel will incorporate local architectural techniques and materials, with artworks from Moroccan and African artists enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the property.

Emphasizing cultural immersion, the hotel will provide experiences that celebrate Moroccan traditions, crafts, and daily life, all while prioritizing sustainability. The integration of farmland into the hotel’s concept aligns with a growing trend of merging agricultural environments with luxury hospitality. This ambitious project not only aims to attract visitors seeking a unique stay but also to foster a deeper connection with the local culture and environment.
