This alarming forecast highlights the potential for temperatures to soar between 42 and 46 degrees Celsius, particularly affecting regions such as Assa-Zag, Tata, Boujdour, Oued Ed-Dahab, Aousserd, Es-Semara, and Zagora. The alert is classified under an orange vigilance level, emphasizing the seriousness of the situation.
In addition, a similar phenomenon is anticipated in the provinces of Tan-Tan, Skhirate-Témara, Khémisset, Rehamna, Ouezzane, Larache, Taounate, El Kelâa des Sraghna, Laâyoune, Guelmim, Settat, Khouribga, Sidi Slimane, Sidi Kacem, Kénitra, Taroudant, Fquih Ben Salah, Béni Mellal, and Salé, where temperatures are expected to range between 38 and 42 degrees Celsius this Sunday and Monday.

Moreover, thunderstorms are likely to bring significant rainfall accompanied by hail and gusty winds (ranging from 25 to 35 mm) to provinces including Azilal, Boulemane, Rehamna, Marrakech, El Kelâa des Sraghna, Chichaoua, Al Haouz, Settat, Khouribga, Taroudant, Ouarzazate, Figuig, Midelt, Khénifra, Ifrane, Fquih Ben Salah, and Béni Mellal, particularly on Sunday between 14:00 and 23:00.
