The General Directorate of Meteorology anticipates that the weather in Morocco on Friday, May 29, 2026, will be characterized by high temperatures, particularly in the southeastern regions and the extreme southern areas of the desert provinces. It is expected that temperatures could soar to an impressive 42 degrees Celsius in Oued Ed-Dahab. Additionally, relatively hot weather is forecasted for the interior plains and the Saïss area, with temperatures reaching 37 degrees in cities such as Khouribga, Marrakech, Taounate, and Smara, while slightly cooler conditions will prevail in Beni Mellal, Meknes, and Fez, where temperatures are expected to be around 36 degrees.
Unstable clouds are likely to form over the Atlas Mountains and the southeastern parts of the country. Furthermore, foggy patches are expected to develop during the morning and evening hours along the Mediterranean coast and locally on the Atlantic shores. The forecast also indicates moderate to somewhat strong gusts of wind in the southern provinces, the Souss region, and areas of the Atlas and southeast, with a possibility of localized dust storms.

As for the minimum temperatures, they are expected to range between 7 and 13 degrees Celsius in the mountainous regions of the Atlas, while the southeastern and eastern parts of the country, as well as the southern desert provinces, will experience temperatures between 21 and 28 degrees. Other areas of the kingdom will see minimum temperatures ranging from 14 to 20 degrees. During the daytime, temperatures are predicted to decrease somewhat in the southern provinces and the northern-central interior plains, while remaining relatively stable across the rest of the country.
