Hot Weather Across Regions
The General Directorate of Meteorology has forecasted for Sunday, July 26, that hot weather will dominate the southeastern regions of the country, particularly within the desert provinces. Additionally, relatively warm conditions are expected in the eastern areas, Souss region, and the plains extending west of the Atlas Mountains.
Night and Morning Cloud Cover
During the night and early morning hours, there will be a formation of low clouds accompanied by foggy patches near the Atlantic Ocean coast. The skies will generally be partly cloudy to occasionally overcast over the Middle Atlas and southeastern regions. Moderate to somewhat strong gusts of wind will be noticeable in the Atlas Mountains, central coast, and southern provinces, with local dust particles scattered in some areas.
The minimum temperatures are expected to range between 22°C and 26°C in the Souss region, southeastern areas, and parts of the eastern and southern desert provinces. In contrast, temperatures will be between 15°C and 20°C across the rest of the kingdom. During the daytime, temperatures are anticipated to rise in the northern half of the country.
The sea will be calm to slightly rough in the Mediterranean and the Strait of Gibraltar, with slightly rough to rough conditions expected north of Casablanca, and rough to very rough conditions along the remaining coastlines.
