McKinsey & Company has been a permanent presence in Casablanca since it established its office in 2004, providing crucial support for the economic and sectoral transformations in Morocco. The firm primarily services the private sector, which constitutes nearly 90% of its operations today. Yassir Zouaoui, who has dedicated 20 years to the company, began his career in Casablanca before transitioning to Dubai. During his nearly ten-year tenure there, he held regional and international responsibilities, notably as the global head of the economic development practice.

This is complemented by functional expertise in strategy, transformation, and digital initiatives. The office also plays an active role in introducing innovations to the Moroccan market, especially in digital and artificial intelligence, leveraging the capabilities of QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey.
McKinsey's deep-rooted presence in the Moroccan ecosystem is also reflected in its societal commitment, demonstrated through a network of several hundred alumni, recruitment from local academic institutions, and collaborations with various associations.
