A Journey of Hope: Abde's Migration Story
Abde, a young migrant from Morocco, embarked on his journey at the tender age of 15, ultimately arriving in Zaragoza at 17. His experience reflects the struggles many young individuals face when seeking a better life in a foreign land. Through a process known as 'arraigo por formación,' Abde is on the verge of obtaining his legal residency documents, a significant milestone that underscores his determination and resilience.
Hailing from a family of four, with three sisters, Abde's decision to leave Morocco was driven by the stark realization that, like many youth before him, he faced limited prospects in his homeland. He recounts his journey, stating, “I went to Tangier, in the north, where there was a border, and I crossed it. I entered Spain numerous times, and on many occasions, I was sent back.” His persistence ultimately led him to Ceuta in 2017, where he finally succeeded in entering the country. Abde’s story is a testament to the challenges and aspirations of countless migrants who seek a brighter future away from home.
