Arrest of a Young Woman with a Large Quantity of Drugs
On the evening of May 22, 2026, law enforcement officials from the Fes police department, acting on precise intelligence provided by the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance (DGST), apprehended a 30-year-old woman suspected of involvement in the possession and trafficking of narcotics and psychotropic substances. The arrest took place at a judicial checkpoint on Ain Chkaf Road, immediately after the suspect arrived in a light vehicle from Tangier. Upon conducting a search, authorities discovered that she was in possession of 4,800 tablets of ecstasy and 3,000 tablets of Rivotril, as well as a sum of money believed to be the proceeds from this illicit activity.
