The city of Casablanca is set to initiate a significant transformation in the organization of its public service for household waste collection and street cleaning. A competitive bidding process is underway, with the opening of tenders scheduled for April 27. This initiative will lead to a delegated management contract lasting eight years, with an annual budget that exceeds one billion dirhams (1.2 billion MAD). This ambitious plan, supported by a comprehensive 90-page agreement and a stringent technical specifications document, aims to address past inefficiencies by establishing a more structured and transparent contractual framework.
