Important Traffic Changes in Casablanca
This Sunday, October 25, 2023, Casablanca will experience significant disruptions in traffic due to the highly anticipated Crédit du Maroc Casablanca Marathon. The event, organized by the Association of Runners of Greater Casablanca (ACGC), necessitates the temporary closure of several key roads from 6 AM to 2 PM. These closures will primarily affect areas including Bourgogne, the Art Deco district, CIL, Casablanca Finance City (CFC), Hay Hassani, and Aïn Diab.
Residents and visitors in the vicinity of the marathon route are advised to plan their movements accordingly, as access to nearby neighborhoods may also be restricted during the event. The ACGC urges the local community, including residents, business owners, and motorists, to heed the signage and directions provided by officials stationed along the route.
For further details regarding the race route and additional practical information, interested parties can visit the official event website at casablancamarathon.com.
In closing, the ACGC expresses gratitude to the citizens of Casablanca for their understanding and cooperation, emphasizing that these measures are in place to ensure the safety of both runners and spectators during this exciting sporting event.
