Moroccan Companies Surge: Top 100 Growth Rankings Showcase Remarkable Progressions
The Moroccan business landscape is witnessing a remarkable surge, driven by significant investments, expansive projects, and the recovery of various economic sectors. The latest Top 100 Growth rankings from the "Les 500 Global 2026" report unveil astonishing growth rates, with some companies achieving increases of more than 200%. However, this growth is not uniform across the board, highlighting considerable disparities among the trajectories of different firms. Behind these impressive performances lie strategic acquisitions, entry into new markets, and a notable expansion of operational activities, which are reshaping the landscape of major Moroccan corporations.
The statistics reflect this acceleration vividly. In 2025, the 500 largest companies in Morocco achieved a combined revenue of 1.145 trillion dirhams, compared to 1.026 trillion dirhams the previous year, marking an 11.7% increase. When adjusted for a constant perimeter, the growth rate stands at 8.9%, an improvement from 7.7% in 2024. This uptick indicates a more vigorous economic activity, although the intensity of this growth varies significantly from one company to another.
The 25th edition of the "Les 500 Global" ranking, published by Economie Entreprises and Kompass Maroc, in collaboration with Les Inspirations ÉCO, reveals a largely positive dynamic. Among the 454 companies included in the comparative analysis based on a constant perimeter, 362 reported an increase in revenue, while 91 experienced a decline, and just one maintained its revenue at the same level. This growth trend is further illustrated in the overall ranking structure, where the number of companies exceeding one billion dirhams in revenue rose from 133 to 153 within a year. Notably, the entry threshold to the Top 500 has also increased, with the lowest-ranked company now reporting revenues of 113 million dirhams, up from 98 million dirhams in the previous ranking.
The Top 100 Growth list particularly highlights the magnitude of the ongoing changes, with four companies exhibiting growth rates exceeding 200%, while five others surpassed 90%. It is essential to note that these remarkable performances do not all stem from the same mechanisms. Some are a result of commercial expansion, others from mergers and acquisitions, changes in perimeter, or the execution of major contracts.
One standout is La Voie Express Group, which leads the Top 100 Growth with an astonishing revenue increase of 321.2%, soaring from 121.1 million dirhams in 2024 to 510 million dirhams in 2025. This significant growth is primarily attributed to its acquisition by Buildings Logistics & Services (BLS), chaired by Moncef Belkhayat, which secured 100% of La Voie Express's capital. This strategic move has created a comprehensive logistics structure, addressing evolving business needs amidst industrial development and transformations in supply chains.
Following closely is Résidences Dar Saada, the real estate developer that reported a staggering 244.7% growth, increasing its revenue from 135.9 million to 468.5 million dirhams. This surge comes on the heels of a particularly weak performance in 2024, as revenue deliveries linked to a resettlement program in Casablanca only commenced in early 2025, following agreements for over 10,500 housing units. Similarly, Agentis, specializing in health facility design and construction, achieved a revenue jump from 454 million dirhams to approximately 1.5 billion dirhams, reflecting a 230.4% increase, driven by rising demands for medical infrastructure in Africa, notably through a contract with the Democratic Republic of Congo's Ministry of Public Health.
In the financial services and urban planning sectors, Crédit du Maroc Leasing & Factoring secured the fourth position with a 211.4% revenue increase, climbing from 47.1 million to 146.6 million dirhams. This growth aligns with the expanding leasing and factoring services, reinforced by synergies within the Holmarcom group. Lamalif Group, ranking fifth, reported a revenue of 1.04 billion dirhams, up 113.7%, benefiting from urban equipment programs. Meanwhile, Africa Motors, at sixth, recorded a revenue of 566.5 million dirhams, marking a 104.6% increase, revitalizing its market presence amid a challenging previous year.
The diversity of sectors represented in the Top 10 underscores that this acceleration is not confined to a single branch of the economy. The continued rise in revenues across logistics, real estate, healthcare, financial services, urban planning, and automotive sectors illustrates the multifaceted nature of growth in Morocco’s economic landscape. Furthermore, significant construction projects have propelled BTP companies, with Grands Travaux Routiers achieving a remarkable 64% growth, driven by infrastructure investments and key contracts, particularly in the high-speed rail project connecting Kénitra and Marrakech.
In summary, the Top 100 Growth rankings reveal a dynamic and evolving Moroccan economy, where strategic decisions, market transformations, and substantial investments collectively shape the future. The blend of organic growth and expansion through acquisitions highlights the resilience and adaptability of Moroccan companies in a rapidly changing economic environment. As these businesses continue to innovate and expand, they are poised to contribute significantly to Morocco’s economic development in the years ahead.
