Morocco's Fes Club Strengthens Team by Extending Star Defender's Contract
On October 28, 2026, the management of Morocco's Fes Club (MAS) took significant steps to ensure the stability of their first team by officially announcing the extension of defender Marwan Ouhrou's contract until the summer of 2030. This strategic move underscores the club's commitment to fortifying its squad and maintaining a competitive edge in both national and continental competitions.
The decision to extend Ouhrou's contract comes as a proactive measure to safeguard the club’s foundational players from potential external offers, especially given the player’s impressive performances on the left side of defense. Ouhrou joined MAS in July 2025 from Chabab Soualem, with an initial contract that was set to expire in the summer of 2028. However, recognizing his contributions and potential for further development, the club decided to reward him with an additional two-year extension.
This contract renewal reflects the ambitions of Morocco's Fes Club to maintain a balanced and ready squad capable of achieving positive results in upcoming local and international fixtures. The management aims to enhance the team's competitiveness and overall performance, ensuring that they can present a formidable challenge in the league and beyond.
