Planned Power Interruption for Maintenance in Ouidad, Marrakech-Safi
The regional multi-service company in Marrakech-Safi has announced a temporary power outage affecting several areas and neighborhoods within the Ouidad community. This interruption is part of a systematic maintenance program aimed at enhancing service quality and improving the electrical network's performance in the region.
According to an official statement from the company, the power outage is scheduled for Tuesday, October 27, 2026, starting at 9:00 AM and will last approximately seven hours. The maintenance work will involve several customer transformers and distribution transformers across the network, including areas and transformers such as “Rak Diab”, “Oulad Moumen”, “Bkara”, “Oulad Zubair”, and “Al-Shuibat”.
The company urges residents in the affected areas to take necessary precautions during the maintenance period, emphasizing that power may be restored earlier than expected without prior notice once the technical operations are completed. The company appreciates the understanding of the citizens during this period.
