Agadir to Host the Second Edition of the Investment March on October 28-29
Agadir, a vibrant city located in Morocco’s Souss-Massa region, is set to welcome the second edition of the Investment March on October 28 and 29, 2026. This significant event is organized by the Souss Massa Promotion Cluster and aims to bring together economic stakeholders from the region and Moroccan diaspora networks. The overarching goal is to foster partnerships and unveil new investment opportunities in the region, enhancing the economic landscape of Souss-Massa.
Two Days Dedicated to Economic Opportunities in the Region
The program for the Investment March will kick off with a day dedicated to site visits and meetings with various economic players across different provinces of Souss-Massa. This initial phase is designed to allow participants to explore the region's potential and identify avenues for collaboration. Following the site visits, the event will culminate on October 29 with a forum featuring plenary sessions and thematic workshops. Discussions will focus on the contributions of the Moroccan diaspora to economic partnerships and the opportunities presented by the upcoming 2030 World Cup, which Morocco, Spain, and Portugal will co-host. This theme will also address the challenges businesses may face in preparation for the event and explore possibilities for developing new projects in the region.
Beyond just networking and discussions, the Investment March seeks to facilitate connections among economic actors, encourage partnerships, and pave the way for concrete projects that will benefit the local territory. The organizers emphasize the importance of the skills, professional networks, and international market knowledge possessed by the Moroccan diaspora, viewing them as vital levers for fostering economic cooperation.
The event enjoys institutional support from the Souss-Massa region's wilaya and the regional council, as well as financial backing from the Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME) and Expertise France.
