Recently, the Moroccan team had been engaged in a training camp at home, which included a friendly match against Madagascar, where they secured an impressive victory with a score of four goals to none. Following this successful training phase, the team is set to travel to the United States, where they will be based at The Pingry School in New Jersey during the group stage of the 2026 World Cup.
In preparation for the World Cup, Hakimi and his teammates are scheduled to play another friendly match against Norway on June 7, just before the much-anticipated tournament begins.
