Achraf Hakimi Joins Morocco's National Team Ahead of World Cup 2026

The Moroccan national football team announced via their X platform account on Wednesday that they have completed their roster with the arrival of star player Achraf Hakimi at their training camp. Recent footage shared by the 'Atlas Lions' showcased Hakimi in a striking dark red leather jacket, paired with a sleek black inner shirt, loose-fitting trousers, and bold footwear, complemented by stylish sunglasses and a luxury watch, reflecting his impeccable fashion sense.

Recently, the Moroccan team had been engaged in a training camp at home, which included a friendly match against Madagascar, where they secured an impressive victory with a score of four goals to none. Following this successful training phase, the team is set to travel to the United States, where they will be based at The Pingry School in New Jersey during the group stage of the 2026 World Cup.

In preparation for the World Cup, Hakimi and his teammates are scheduled to play another friendly match against Norway on June 7, just before the much-anticipated tournament begins. Achraf Hakimi was the last player to join the squad, as he had been competing in the UEFA Champions League final with his club, Paris Saint-Germain, against English side Arsenal. PSG emerged victorious, claiming the title for the second consecutive year, and Hakimi celebrated this achievement with fans in Paris, marking a significant moment in his career.
