Agadir's Commitment to Human Development

The Provincial Committee for Human Development (CPDH) in Agadir Ida-Outanane has recently approved a significant array of projects under the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH). This milestone was achieved following a meeting held at the headquarters of the Wilaya, where a total of 140 projects received the green light, amounting to a substantial budget of 7.02 million dirhams. These initiatives are part of the INDH's third program, which focuses on enhancing income and fostering economic inclusion for the youth.

Promoting Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Employment

Chaired by Saïd Amzazi, the Wali of the Souss-Massa region and governor of the Agadir Ida-Outanane prefecture, the meeting also addressed the allocation of remaining funds available under the INDH's second and fourth programs. The approved projects are designed to bolster support for young entrepreneurs, stimulate entrepreneurship, and promote activities that can generate sustainable income and employment opportunities. The Wali emphasized the importance of selecting projects that will have a tangible impact on the targeted populations, highlighting the need for efficiency, sustainability, and the judicious use of mobilized resources. Remaining funds from other programs are to be redirected towards addressing the urgent needs of vulnerable communities and enhancing the human capital of future generations.

Furthermore, Fatima Zahra Diab, head of the social action division at the Agadir Ida-Outanane prefecture, noted that the approved projects are particularly significant due to their anticipated positive effects on the socio-economic status of young individuals. This new programming continues the INDH's efforts towards creating a more inclusive human development framework that adequately addresses social and economic needs at the local level.
