Al Masry Club Embarks on Training Camp in Marrakech

The Egyptian football club Al Masry, based in Port Said, has officially arrived in Morocco as of Saturday, August 8, 2026, to participate in a closed pre-season training camp in Marrakech. This intensive camp is designed to prepare the team for the upcoming football season, lasting until August 16. The team's journey commenced from the Egyptian capital, Cairo, where they first flew to Casablanca's Mohammed V Airport before continuing their journey by road to Marrakech, a trip that took several hours.

The primary objective of this training camp is to enhance both the physical fitness and technical skills of the players. It also provides head coach Imad Nasser and his coaching staff with an opportunity to foster team cohesion and finalize strategies ahead of the official competitions. The delegation consists of 46 members, including 28 players, alongside the technical and administrative staff, with notable figures such as coach Imad Nasser and Director of Football, Saif Dawood, leading the group.

During the current summer transfer window, Al Masry has bolstered its squad with the addition of six new players, including Moroccan striker Abdullah Al Zayani from Hassania Agadir. Other new signings include Mostafa Al Ash and Yassine Al Milah, as well as Mohamed Shukri and Mohamed Ahmed Sayha, not forgetting Algerian player Khair Eddine Tawal, who has joined from CR Belouizdad. The club is optimistic that this training camp in Marrakech will facilitate the development of team synergy and readiness, setting the stage for their ambitious campaign upon returning to Egypt to kick off the new season.
