To lead operations in North Africa from the Casablanca office, Aleph Hospitality has appointed Abdellah Essonni as the regional vice president. With an impressive 35 years of experience in the hospitality and real estate sectors spanning four continents, Essonni will oversee the strategic and financial performance of the region. This appointment signifies a deliberate strategy to empower seasoned local leaders, fostering market expansion, partnership development, and the signing of new franchise and management agreements.
Furthermore, the deployment of the Casablanca office is accompanied by a strengthening of upper management between Dubai and Morocco. Aline Barhouche has been appointed as the human resources director to spearhead talent strategy, while Estelle Chambost has taken on the role of vice president of learning and development. Marc Matar also joins the team as the vice president of the food and beverage division, tasked with transforming this segment into a key growth and profitability driver for owners throughout the Middle East and Africa.
