According to the recent barometer published by Bourse des Vols and reported by the specialized media outlet TourMaG, the international airport of Alger has experienced a notable increase of 4% in flight searches compared to the previous year. Following Alger, Marrakech has made impressive strides, climbing two places to reach the 5th position with an 11% increase, while Tunis remains steady in the top ten at 8th place, boasting a 14% rise. Caroline Gachet, the marketing and e-commerce director of Bourse des Vols, attributes this trend to the resurgence of the Maghreb region and the revival of certain European and African routes, which reflects a growing interest in travel to these areas.
Furthermore, there has been a remarkable increase in flight searches from regional airports in France. For instance, searches from Toulouse to Oran have skyrocketed by 78%, and inquiries about flights from Marseille to Annaba have surged by an astonishing 291%.
