Transforming Morocco: A Vision for Unified Growth
Anis Biro, a member of the Political Bureau of the National Rally of Independents Party, emphasized during a large communication meeting held in the community of Meskala in the Essaouira region that Morocco is currently at a pivotal stage that necessitates continuous efforts to transition from a "two-speed Morocco" to a "one-speed Morocco" under the wise vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI. Addressing an audience comprised of local residents, writers, and regional officials, Biro underscored that Essaouira is rich in human resources, which are the essential foundation for development, expressing his pride in directly engaging with the citizens of this cherished region.
During his speech, Biro reflected on the achievements of the current government led by Aziz Akhannouch, indicating that based on his extensive political experience and observation of numerous successive governments, he offers a "genuine testimony" that the current Prime Minister has presented an exemplary model of leadership, decision-making, and accountability. He highlighted that the past five years have witnessed significant projects and initiatives, notably the social protection project and direct social support benefiting thousands of families in the region, with monthly amounts ranging from 500 to 1250 dirhams. Additionally, he pointed out initiatives related to health coverage, providing clean drinking water, and enhancing infrastructure, affirming that the implementation of these projects required "courage, audacity, efficiency, and the ability to arbitrate."
Democratic Challenges Ahead
Regarding the upcoming democratic challenges, Biro asserted that the electoral process is not merely a routine event or a competition among candidates, but rather a "moment of truth and a democratic responsibility par excellence" for shaping the future and selecting capable leaders to continue the developmental trajectory. He robustly replied to voices that downplay the importance of elections, stating, "Elections are about democracy, citizens, and effective political action. Those who think otherwise do not understand politics." He added that the National Rally of Independents does not offer flashy slogans or unrealistic promises but relies on tangible, real projects that address the realities of citizens in schools, roads, and rural pathways, aiming to achieve equity among different regions and areas of the kingdom.
In concluding his remarks, the Political Bureau member reinforced that the party does not seek to alter the course that has achieved growth rates exceeding 5% and tangible projects, but rather aims to "develop this path, enhance it, and increase its speed" to create a direct impact on the lives of every citizen. He expressed his strong confidence in the intelligence of the Moroccan citizen and their ability to distinguish between sincere efforts and empty slogans, calling for a renewal of trust to continue building a "rising Morocco" through actions rather than words.
