Significant Increase in Israeli Tourism to Morocco
By the end of 2026, around 20,000 Israeli tourists are projected to visit Morocco, a surge made possible by the recent resumption of direct flights between Tel Aviv and Marrakech. The resumption of direct services commenced this summer, with Israeli airline Arkia successfully conducting its inaugural flight to Marrakech in August, marking a significant milestone since flights had been suspended following the events of October 7, 2023.
Currently, Israeli airlines are operating three direct flights each week, facilitating travel for those eager to explore Moroccan culture and hospitality.
