Abdelkebir Rkakna's Re-election Marks a New Chapter for Artists' Mutual Fund

On March 24, 2026, an important gathering took place at the headquarters of the National Artists' Mutual Fund, where artist Abdelkebir Rkakna was re-elected for a second term as president. This event was conducted in accordance with the statutory provisions of the mutual fund and was attended by a legally sufficient number of members from various relevant bodies. The assembly was dedicated to discussing and approving the literary and financial reports, as well as the financial statements and the monitoring committee's report for the year 2025. After thorough and responsible discussions, the reports were unanimously approved.

Following the approval of the reports, the election process for the governing body of the mutual fund commenced. Three candidates emerged for the presidency: artists Jamal Adamjoud, Bashir Chajidine, and Abdelkebir Rkakna. The voting took place in a transparent and democratic atmosphere, leading to the re-election of Rkakna as president of the National Artists' Mutual Fund for another term. The elected governing body also includes Nadia Aqrash as Vice President, Ahmed Labkiri as Secretary General, Najib Bensrou as Deputy Secretary General, Omar Belakir as Treasurer, and Salah El Sharkawi as Deputy Treasurer.
