In a recent announcement, Aya Gold & Silver Inc. (TSX: AYA; NASDAQ: AYA) has revealed the results of its exploration drilling program at the Zgounder silver mine located in Morocco. The company reported several sections with significant silver grades, highlighting the potential of this mining operation. Notably, in the open-pit area, drill hole ZG-RC-26-946 encountered a remarkable mineralization of 1,867 grams of silver per tonne (g/t) over a length of 6.0 meters, which included a high-grade section of 5,100 g/t silver over 2.0 meters. Another drill hole, ZG-RC-26-942, produced 739 g/t silver over 10.0 meters, with a standout section recording 1,674 g/t silver over 4.0 meters.
Furthermore, near the western fault zone, drill hole YAK-26-502 yielded a silver content of 795 g/t over 4.8 meters, while drill hole T28-26-1152 reported a section with 445 g/t silver over 7.2 meters. In the central area of the mine, drill hole T28-26-1248 struck an impressive 2,176 g/t silver over 8.4 meters, which included a high-grade segment of 4,298 g/t silver over 3.6 meters. Additionally, drill hole DZG-SF-26-740 presented 1,330 g/t silver over 4.6 meters, including a high-grade interval of 3,680 g/t silver over 1.2 meters.
