Upon returning to the Moroccan Professional League after a stint in the Belgian league, Sofiane Bengida never anticipated that his prowess on the field would outshine even his notable performances with his previous team, Raja Casablanca. With 13 goals scored in just 14 league matches, he maintains an impressive average of nearly one goal per game, surpassing his previous scoring rates before 2023. Notably, this tally has historically been sufficient for players to win the Golden Boot in an entire season.
Bengida's experience in Belgium has undoubtedly enriched his gameplay, allowing him to integrate high-level techniques and habits that have positively impacted his performance since returning to Moroccan football.
