CAF and LOCs Conclude Commercial Roadshow for AFCON 2027
The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF), in collaboration with the Local Organising Committees (LOCs) from Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, has successfully wrapped up the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) KE.TZ.UG 2027 Commercial Roadshow. This pivotal event, which took place from September 14 to 18, 2026, traversed all three host nations, engaging stakeholders from various sectors including banking, airlines, telecommunications, tourism, technology, and trade.
During this series of workshops and interactions, CAF highlighted the immense scale, outreach, and commercial potential of the TotalEnergies CAF AFCON 2027. The initiative aimed to showcase the opportunities available for both African and global brands to connect with one of the premier sporting events globally. The AFCON series has been steadily solidifying its status as a leading sports property on the international stage, evidenced by the impressive 95% surge in commercial revenues during the Morocco 2025 edition, which also attracted a cumulative audience of 3.2 billion viewers and a record 23 sponsorship partners. This remarkable growth underscores the increasing commercial appeal of the tournament.
The Commercial Roadshow also served to illuminate the various opportunities that commercial partners can leverage before, during, and after the tournament period. Brands can enhance their visibility and engagement through a variety of marketing initiatives and activations associated with the tournament. A noteworthy feature of the Roadshow was the introduction of the Deal Room, a dedicated space designed for one-on-one meetings where CAF representatives could engage with brands interested in establishing agreements across the three hosting countries.
The TotalEnergies CAF AFCON PAMOJA 2027 is scheduled to take place from June 19 to July 17, 2027, promising to be a landmark event in the history of African football.
