Excitement Builds for the Upcoming 10KM International Race in Casablanca
Casablanca is gearing up for the much-anticipated second edition of the 10KM International Race, organized by WeCasablanca, which is slated for May 17, 2026. This remarkable event is expected to draw over 15,000 participants, showcasing the city's commitment to promoting sports and community engagement. The race is a collaborative effort between Casablanca Events & Animation and the City of Casablanca, aiming to energize the urban landscape through a vibrant sporting experience.
The race will kick off at 8:30 a.m. from Boulevard Al Massira Al Khadra, strategically located at the foot of the iconic Twin Center, and will conclude on Boulevard Zerktouni. Designed to be both fast and officially certified, the course promises an exhilarating experience for both amateur and professional runners, with a minimum age requirement of 16. This event has rapidly evolved into one of Morocco's premier road-running gatherings, fostering a sense of accessibility and community spirit among participants.
Runners will traverse some of Casablanca's most renowned areas, including Boulevard d’Anfa and the scenic Corniche, ensuring a picturesque backdrop that complements the competitive nature of the race.
