Conversely, the "Forestry and Paper" sector faced the most considerable decline, dropping by 3.58%, with the "Insurance" and "Health" sectors also experiencing downturns of 0.63% and 0.53%, respectively.
Trading volume for the day exceeded 142.62 million dirhams, predominantly occurring within the central "Stocks" market, led by significant transactions in companies such as Résidences Dar Saada, Managem, and Bank of Africa.
In terms of individual stock performance, IB Maroc.com led gains with a remarkable increase of 9.24%, reaching 58.99 dirhams. Other notable performers included Société des Boissons du Maroc, which rose by 8.4% to 2,168 dirhams, and Stroc Industrie, gaining 6.21% to close at 178 dirhams. On the downside, Rebab Company faced the steepest decline, down 5.99% to 91.66 dirhams, while Med Paper and Aluminium du Maroc also recorded significant losses.
