Clemente González Soler Continues Leadership as President of Cemaes

The industrial and technology group Alibérico's president, Clemente González Soler, has been unanimously reelected as the president of the Spanish representation of the Spain-Morocco Business Council (Cemaes) for another four-year term. This significant decision was disclosed in a company statement on Wednesday. González Soler has held this esteemed position since 2022, and his reelection was confirmed during the general assembly meeting of the organization, which took place at the headquarters of the General Confederation of Enterprises of Morocco (CGEM) in Casablanca.

In conjunction with the reelection of González Soler, the Moroccan representation also renewed the mandate of businessman Adil Rais, who continues as co-president of Cemaes. Additionally, the governance bodies underwent a partial renewal, with Victoria Plantalamor, CEO and vice president of the Industrial Group Crimidesa and former president of the Madrid Association of Family Businesses (Adefam), stepping in as the new vice president of the Spanish representation. Álvaro Schweinfurth, the current deputy director of the International and Multilateral Organizations Department of the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE), was elected as the general secretary of the organization.

Following his reelection, González Soler emphasized the importance of strengthening collaboration between Spain and Morocco in crucial strategic areas such as industry, energy, innovation, infrastructure, and the development of joint projects with international perspectives. His vision reflects a commitment to enhancing bilateral relations and fostering economic growth through cooperative efforts.
