CMR Recruitment Competition 2026: Three Positions Available

The Moroccan Retirement Fund (Caisse Marocaine des Retraites, CMR) is set to conduct a recruitment competition for three significant positions within the organization. The roles available include: Service Manager, Management Controller, and Litigation Officer. Candidates interested in applying for one of these positions must submit their applications by the deadline of June 5, 2026.

About the Moroccan Retirement Fund (CMR)

The CMR is a public institution with legal personality and financial autonomy, tasked with dual social and financial missions. The Fund is responsible for managing several pension schemes, including the civil pension scheme for state officials, local government agents, and certain public institutions, as well as military pensions covering the Royal Armed Forces and Auxiliary Forces. Additionally, CMR oversees the ATTAKMILI complementary retirement scheme and non-contributory pension regimes that provide invalidity pensions and allowances for former resistance fighters and members of the Liberation Army.

The financial management of the CMR operates on a tiered distribution principle for basic schemes, where pensions for retirees and their beneficiaries are financed by contributions from affiliates and employers. As an institutional investor, the CMR allocates excess funds from the civil scheme to a reserve fund, which is invested in financial markets. The ATTAKMILI scheme, on the other hand, is based on a capitalization principle.

In addition to its primary functions, the CMR also offers management services on behalf of third parties. These services include deductions from pensions for mandatory health insurance contributions, which are remitted to the National Social Security Organizations Fund (CNOPS), as well as conventional deductions benefiting financing companies and social work associations. The Fund also provides services for foundations, such as the Hassan II Foundation for Social Works of Former Military Personnel and the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Promotion of Social Works in Education and Training, in addition to services for the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
