This Friday marks the commencement of the inaugural Mineral and Fossil Fair at the A Barca shopping center in Poio, open from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM and continuing through Sunday. The event features exhibitors from Spain, Portugal, and Morocco who will showcase an array of natural wonders, including minerals, fossils, meteorites, decorative items, and exquisite jewelry pieces. Attendees can expect to see stunning quartz and amethyst geodes, fluorescent minerals, intricately carved marble with fossils, and even selenite lamps, as highlighted by the organizers.
Significantly, this is the first fair of its kind organized in the Pontevedra region, and the organizers emphasize that it presents a remarkable opportunity for both collectors and the general public to admire and acquire unique pieces sourced from all five continents. Among the treasures on display will be jewelry crafted from precious metals and stones, including turquoise, malachite, rubies, sapphires, and emeralds, all exhibited in the hallways of the shopping center's ground floor.
The Mineral and Fossil Fair features nearly fifty meters of showcases and tables dedicated to a diverse range of minerals, fossils, and meteorites, along with stunning jewelry items.
