EasyJet Expands Routes to Morocco from Bordeaux for Winter 2026

EasyJet Launches New Direct Flights from Bordeaux

The British low-cost airline EasyJet is set to expand its network from Bordeaux Airport for the upcoming winter season of 2026, introducing exciting new routes that will cater to sun-seeking travelers. Starting from October 25, passengers from the Gironde region will have the opportunity to fly directly to three sunny destinations: Agadir, Malaga, and Gran Canaria. This strategic addition is designed to provide a convenient escape from the dreary winter weather.

As part of this initiative, EasyJet will operate two weekly flights on the Bordeaux-Agadir route, scheduled for Wednesdays and Sundays. The flights from Bordeaux are timed for early morning departures at 7:30 AM, arriving in Agadir at 10:20 AM, and late afternoon departures at 4:35 PM, landing at 7:25 PM. Return flights will depart from Agadir at either 11:10 AM or 8:15 PM, arriving back in Gironde at 2:00 PM or 11:05 PM, respectively. The estimated flight duration between Bordeaux and the Moroccan coastal resort is approximately 2 hours and 50 minutes, with initial ticket prices starting at an attractive 128 euros.

EasyJet's Commitment to Moroccan Destinations

EasyJet's expansion is not limited to Bordeaux alone; the airline has also recently inaugurated a new base at Marrakech Airport, deploying three aircraft and launching six new routes. This ambitious plan aims to facilitate up to 4 million seats in the first year, significantly boosting tourism to Morocco. Additionally, Montpellier-Méditerranée Airport has announced a record program for summer 2026, featuring 39 direct destinations, including enhanced connections to Morocco. This includes new flights to Tangier and increased frequencies to Marrakech, Rabat, and Casablanca. Such developments reflect EasyJet's commitment to strengthening its presence in Morocco and providing travelers with diverse options for their journeys.
