Celebrating Ramadan with Cultural Activities for Children
On March 14, 2026, the cultural complex of Oudaden in the Bensarkao neighborhood of Agadir hosted a vibrant educational and recreational event aimed at children, organized under the auspices of the "Ramadan Nights" program initiated by the Agadir municipality. This delightful gathering was orchestrated by the Hope Drop Association, which focuses on cultural and social activities for those with special needs, in partnership with the cultural department of the Agadir municipality.
The program featured a diverse array of engaging educational activities, including artistic workshops, meaningful songs, and entertaining events designed to promote the educational and spiritual values associated with the holy month of Ramadan. The event also included recitations from the Holy Quran, performed by children benefiting from a Quranic recitation workshop held at the Oudaden cultural center. Additionally, there was an entertaining puppet show presented by the artist Mina Al-Souissi, and the evening concluded with a henna night for the children.
In a statement, Bushra Al-Shakiri, the president of the Hope Drop Association, emphasized that this educational celebration was held in honor of the local children, encouraging them and reviving traditional Moroccan customs tied to this blessed month. The children donned traditional attire and adorned themselves with henna designs, creating a joyful and festive atmosphere that delighted all attendees.
As the educational event wrapped up, awards and certificates of appreciation were distributed to the children who participated in the Quranic recitation workshop, recognizing their efforts and achievements.
