Egypt Offers 5-Year Multiple Entry Visas to Moroccan Citizens

New Visa Policy for Moroccan Travelers

The Egyptian Embassy in Rabat has recently unveiled a new visa policy aimed at facilitating travel for Moroccan citizens wishing to visit Egypt. This new initiative allows Moroccans to obtain a multiple entry visa valid for five years, enabling them to stay in Egypt for up to 90 days per visit. This significant change is expected to enhance travel opportunities and strengthen the ties between Morocco and Egypt.

Details of the Visa Initiative

Egyptian Ambassador Ahmed Nihad Abdel Latif announced this initiative, which builds upon previous measures introduced last October. These earlier provisions included the possibility of obtaining a visa on arrival and waiving the visa requirement for holders of valid visas from countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Schengen Area countries, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or Japan. Ambassador Abdel Latif emphasized that this initiative reflects the strong relations between the two nations and the commitment of the Egyptian government to simplify travel processes for Moroccan visitors, thus fostering closer cultural and economic exchanges.
