Following this training camp, head coach Emad Nasr and football director Saif Dawood are scheduled to convene with the players and the technical and administrative staff. This meeting aims to review the key strengths and weaknesses observed during the Moroccan camp. Additionally, they will outline the final preparations leading up to the decisive match against Smouha next Saturday at the Suez Stadium, which is part of the first round of the league.
During the Moroccan camp, it became evident that Coach Nasr is inclined to gradually integrate the new signings into the team while maintaining most of the core players who are expected to face the initial season challenges against Smouha, Arab Contractors, and Pyramids FC. This approach is designed to mitigate any potential negative impacts that could arise from the new players' adaptation to the league environment and the intensity of the matches, particularly at the Suez Stadium.
Furthermore, the head coach is relying on the excellent physical condition of his players, thanks to a successful physical preparation program that the team underwent during their training camps in Bur Fouad, Cairo, Ismailia, and Morocco. The players have showcased commendable physical and technical performances in the friendly matches leading up to the new season.
On a different note, the management of the Egyptian team has put a halt on new signings, content with the acquisitions made during the summer transfer window. Any further recruitment efforts are postponed until the winter transfer period in January. The administration and coaching staff have decided to depend on the current roster of players, which includes goalkeepers Mohamed Seha, Mahmoud Hamdy, Essam Tharwat, and Mohamed Shehata, along with the promising young goalkeeper Ahmed Wahab.
