Outstanding Performance in National Baccalaureate Exams

In a remarkable display of academic excellence, Shukri Aya, a student from the secondary school 'Shaheed Saleh Serghini' in the Rahamna district, achieved an impressive score of 19.53, securing the highest overall average in the Marrakech-Safi region for the 2026 National Unified Baccalaureate Examination. This extraordinary achievement highlights not only her dedication but also the quality of education provided by the institution she represents. In a press release issued by the Regional Academy of Education and Training for the Marrakech-Safi region, it was revealed that this year's exam results were exceptional, with a total of 33,718 candidates, both from public and private educational institutions, successfully passing the tests. This resulted in a success rate of 68.91% among school candidates, with female candidates achieving a notable success rate of 72.43%. Additionally, there were 2,288 successful candidates from the independent category, marking a success rate of 37.49%.

Distribution of Success Rates Across Educational Streams

The distribution of success rates according to different streams further illustrates the diverse achievements across the academic landscape. In the scientific, technical, and vocational fields, 21,233 candidates from both public and private schools passed, achieving a success rate of 64.21%. Meanwhile, in the literary and traditional education categories, 12,485 candidates successfully obtained their baccalaureate, with a commendable success rate of 78.71%. Notably, 19,153 students graduated with distinctions, equating to approximately 56.80% of the successful candidates, which included 2,713 students who achieved 'very good', 5,656 who were rated as 'good', and 10,784 who received 'acceptable' grades.

Furthermore, it is important to note that 17,867 candidates are set to participate in the supplementary examination sessions on July 2, 3, and 4, 2026, across all disciplines. The results from these sessions are expected to be announced on July 11, 2026, providing another opportunity for students to succeed.
