Key Responsibilities and Qualifications
The primary responsibilities of the Audiovisual Technicians will include the installation, configuration, and commissioning of audiovisual equipment intended for classrooms, auditoriums, and conference spaces. They will be tasked with providing technical support during lectures, conferences, seminars, and scientific events, ensuring that all projection, sound, recording, and videoconferencing systems are functioning optimally.
The role also requires performing preventive and corrective maintenance on audiovisual equipment, diagnosing technical incidents, and implementing necessary actions to ensure uninterrupted operations. Technicians will prepare equipment according to user needs and scheduled events, monitor audiovisual materials, and report any irregularities or maintenance requirements. Adherence to technical procedures and safety regulations is paramount, and collaboration with educational, administrative, and technical teams will be essential to guarantee the successful execution of activities.
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications: a background in audiovisual technology, electronics, computer science, multimedia, or a related field; proficiency with audiovisual equipment and broadcasting tools; knowledge of maintenance and diagnostics of technical equipment; organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively; a strong service orientation, adaptability, and teamwork spirit; and the capability to thrive in a demanding university environment focused on quality service.
