Discover FILMINDIA: A Unique Cinematic Journey
This summer, the Yves Saint Laurent Museum in Marrakech invites cinema enthusiasts to embark on a captivating journey into the world of Indian film through the unique series FILMINDIA. Conceptualized by renowned Indian director and producer Nikkhil Advani, this event runs from June 1 to August 31, 2026, and will take place every Monday evening at the Pierre Bergé Auditorium. Each screening will feature a carefully curated selection of significant cinematic works, ranging from timeless classics to contemporary perspectives.
FILMINDIA provides an exceptional opportunity to explore the immense richness and diversity of Indian cinema, moving beyond the stereotypes often associated with Bollywood. This series aims to offer a sensitive and ambitious examination of various cinematic forms, including auteur cinema, psychological thrillers, social satire, political dramas, and experimental films.
