Indulge in the Exclusive 'Haute Croissanterie' Experience

From September 1 to November 26, 2026, the prestigious Sofitel Marrakech Palais Impérial & Spa and Sofitel Rabat Jardin des Roses are set to offer a limited edition of "La Haute Croissanterie," developed in collaboration with Nespresso. This exquisite experience, dubbed "Please Disturb," features three innovative croissant creations paired with three distinct coffee preparations, all served directly to guests in their rooms at these two iconic Moroccan establishments. The collaboration marks an exciting expansion of Sofitel's partnership with Nespresso, which was launched in January 2024, now bringing this delightful concept to the vibrant locales of Marrakech and Rabat.

Delightful Pairings of Croissants and Coffee

The specially curated menu revolves around three unique pairings, each designed to harmoniously blend a specific croissant variant with a carefully crafted coffee beverage. The first pairing, known as "Le Brûlé," combines a burnt cappuccino mousse with a honey croissant. The recipe is a tantalizing mix of orange notes, orange blossom, and fresh zest, complemented by a decaffeinated cappuccino that perfectly balances the lightness of the mousse with the flaky texture of the croissant. The second offering, "L’Épicé," features a spicy chocolate coffee paired with an exotic coffee-chocolate croissant. This delightful concoction intertwines rich coffee, dark chocolate, and tropical flavors, including passion fruit and a hint of Sichuan pepper, creating a truly unique taste sensation. Lastly, "Le Tonique" pairs an espresso tonic with iced orange alongside a Paris-Brest croissant. This creation brings together hazelnut, citrus, and praline flavors, enhanced with notes of orange blossom, for a refreshing finish.

What sets this experience apart is not just the exquisite menu but the manner in which it is presented. Guests can order these delightful pairings through room service, allowing for a unique dining experience in the comfort of their own rooms. Upon selecting their preferred pairing, guests will be treated to a special presentation, which may include a sweet finishing touch, an aromatic citrus mist, or an addition of dark chocolate and Sichuan pepper, tailored to the chosen creation. This experience is available at any time upon request, allowing guests to enjoy it during breakfast or throughout the day.

According to Btisam Albanouia, the pastry chef at Sofitel Marrakech Palais Impérial & Spa and ambassador for La Haute Croissanterie in Morocco and Southern Europe, the goal is to reimagine a familiar product without overcomplicating it. "Coffee and croissants are such a familiar pleasure that for this menu, we wanted to give it a special touch without making it too complex," she explains. Laurent Garrido, the general manager of Sofitel Rabat Jardin des Roses, emphasizes the importance of providing an accessible service throughout the day, directly from the comfort of the guests' rooms.
