The Documentation and Cultural Activities Center, affiliated with the Regional Delegation of Islamic Affairs in the Marrakech-Safi region, successfully hosted the 18th session of the "Nectar of Books" series on Friday, May 22, 2026. This event, organized in collaboration with the Mohammed VI Foundation for Persons with Disabilities - Marrakech Center, focused on the presentation and discussion of the book "Law and Sports." It gathered a distinguished group of academics, researchers, and individuals interested in legal and sports affairs.
This cultural initiative aligns with the center's broader cultural program, which aims to promote a culture of reading and scientific research while creating spaces for intellectual discussions on current issues related to society, law, and sports. The event took place at the library of the Documentation and Cultural Activities Center located within the Mohammed VI Administrative and Cultural Complex at Bab Ighli in Marrakech, under the moderation of Dr. Ahmed Hadida.

Among the notable contributors were Dr. Riad Fakhri, a professor at the Faculty of Legal and Political Sciences at Hassan I University in Settat; Dr. Younes Alazraq Al-Hassouni, a law professor at the Institute of Sports Sciences at the same university; Dr. Hassan Zardani, a professor at the Faculty of Legal, Economic, and Social Sciences in Marrakech; Dr. Nadia Ayoub, another professor at the same faculty; and Mr. Moulay Hafid Rajila, who oversees sports management at the Regional Academy for Education and Training of the Marrakech-Safi region.
The discussions emphasized the significance of the book "Law and Sports" in documenting the increasing intersections between the sports domain and the legal framework, particularly in light of the changes occurring within the sports sector both nationally and internationally.
