According to the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM), temperatures in various provinces will reach alarming levels, with forecasts indicating highs between 42°C and 46°C. This warning has prompted an orange-level weather alert, highlighting the urgency for residents to prepare for extreme conditions.
Specifically, provinces such as Assa-Zag, Tata, Boujdour, Oued Ed-Dahab, Aousserd, Es-Semara, and Zagora are expected to experience these soaring temperatures. Additionally, other regions, including Taounate, Sidi Bennour, Youssoufia, Béni Mellal, and several more, will see temperatures ranging from 38°C to 42°C during the same period.
